WEEE Recycling

IT recycling that reuses first and documents everything.

We collect your end-of-life IT equipment, wipe the data and resell what still works, or recycle everything if your policy rules out resale. What is not reused is dismantled and sent to certified downstream recyclers and refiners for material recovery, with weight reports your compliance team can file. In the UK we are a registered upper tier waste carrier, broker and dealer, and our Ringmer facility holds a T11 exemption for repair, refurbishment and dismantling.

Reuse first, or recycle only. Working equipment is wiped and resold before anything is recycled, unless your policy requires full recycling with nothing resold.

What we do

Everything collected, sorted and accounted for.

Every item is logged when it arrives and follows one of two routes: wiped and resold, or dismantled and recycled. If your policy rules out resale, everything is recycled. Either way you get the paperwork.

Collection and sorting

Sealed, tracked collection to our facilities in Berlin and the UK, where every item is logged and sorted for reuse or recycling.

  • Items logged on arrival
  • Sorted for reuse or recycling
  • Across Europe and between the EU and the UK

Reuse and resale

Working equipment is wiped following NIST 800-88 guidelines, tested and resold, and the value comes back to you.

  • Data wiped and verified
  • Resale value returned to you
  • Only if your policy allows resale

Dismantling and recycling

Equipment that cannot be reused is dismantled, including at our Ringmer facility, then sent to certified downstream recyclers and refiners.

  • Components separated
  • Certified downstream recyclers and refiners
  • Zero landfill

WEEE recycling FAQ

Is your recycling WEEE compliant?

Yes. Equipment we cannot reuse goes to certified downstream recyclers and refiners, and you receive a weight report for every job. In the UK we are a registered upper tier waste carrier, broker and dealer.

Can we have everything recycled, with nothing resold?

Yes. Some policies rule out resale, so we run full recycling projects: every data-bearing device is wiped or shredded, and everything is dismantled and recycled, with nothing resold. Otherwise we reuse first, which recovers value and avoids new manufacturing.

What happens to the data on recycled devices?

Every data-bearing device is wiped following NIST 800-88 guidelines or physically shredded before it is recycled, with a certificate per serial number.

What reports do we receive?

A weight report for every job, certificates for data-bearing devices and an estimated CO2 saving based on life cycle assessment data. In the UK, the waste documentation that goes with it as well.

Does recycling cost money?

It depends on the mix. Resale value from working equipment can offset or cover the cost of collection and recycling. Send us a rough list and we will tell you.
